Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci was born on November 12, 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti), Romania. Nadia is the Romanian Olympic gymnast. She has the record of being given 10/10 points in an Olympic event. Bela Karrolyi was the Romanian gymnastics coach who became Comaneci's coach in later years she discovered her when she was six. She first competed in the national junior championships in 1969 placing 13th and she won the competition in the year 1970. Three gold medals were awarded in her very first contest, a junior pre-Olympic meet in 1972, which was a communist bloc countries. Between 1973 and 1974, she became the junior champion in all-round competitions. In her debut as a Senior in the year 1975, she defeated Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. The five-time European champion who won four gold medals and one silver. She was the first female ever to successfully perform reverse double saltos when dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. When she was in her teens, she began performing in touring shows like Ice Capades as a skater along with her younger sibling Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was born on the 6th of September 1942 at Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her career in the world of entertainment when she was a teenager. In her early years she was a figure skater in traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. The shows featured skaters who were followed by musical performances.
