Her career continued to see her land leading parts in films like Save the Last Dance The Business of Strangers Mona Lisa Smile, and The Omen.

Jennifer Grey had a long career that lasted almost 30 year. Grey's work spans over 30 years. Her career began with highly acclaimed performances as a supporting actor in films like The Cotton Club, Red Dawn and The Cotton Club. Grey was then a global star when she played the jealous Jeannie of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, a John Hughes comedy opposite Matthew Broderick. After having success with support roles in films such as The Cotton Club and Red Dawn, Grey became a star when she played the jealous sister Jeannie in Ferris Bueller's Day Off opposite Matthew Broderick. Other major film roles followed and included Wind, Bloodhounds of Broadway, Bounce and Red Belt. Grey performed her part in Peter Mehlman's popular television sitcom It's Like You've Heard. Grey was a part of a variety of TV movies, including The Westside Waltz, with Shirley MacLaine and Liza Minnelli and HBO's Fallen Angels - A Dime a Dance Cable Ace Nomination for Best Actress; Murder in Mississippi, as Rita Shwerner; and The Road to Christmas. She was a character in the David Milch HBO series John from Cincinnati.
